Who is suedost of Bosnia and Herzegovina ? Centers in Bijeljina, Odzak, Teslic and Novi Grad/Bosanski Novi are s?dost Europa Kultur e.V. in Bosnia and Hercegovina. Since February 2001 we have launched the Project called Hope: today and tomorrow. We want to improve the preconditions for democracy without hate and prejudices. To achieve that the ability for self-help has to be strengthened on the individual as well as on society?s level. Beside the municipalities of Bijeljina, Odzak, Teslic and Novi Grad/Bosanski Novi, we are present with our project in the partner municiplites of Tuzla, Modrica, Gradacac, Te?anj and Bosanska Krupa especially in that part of the project which referes to development, networking and strengthening of the third sector, as well as all those activities which iniciate inter-entity cooperation. The duration of the project is three years ( until december 2003 ). Our Mission is ? Supporting a spirit of multiculturalism and respect towards any human-being. The main aim of our activities is to empower people in coping with their lives in difficult circumstances through help-for-selfhelp assistance. What are we doing ? In the four municipalities of Bijeljina, Teslic, Odzak and Novi Grad/Bosanski Novi, s?dost Europa Kultur e.V. is implementing various, to the needs of these municipalities adjusted activities: Work on trauma (Self-help groups), Support of groups of the civil society, Strengthening the connections with Germany (Exchange Programme for Psycho-social experts).
