Chairman Roma Organisation Critizcized Discrimination

Romani Rose Chairman of the German Central Committe Roma & Sinti organisationcritized the continued breach of human rights and discrimination of Roma at a ceremony which was held at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp where more than 20.000 Roma and Sinti were murdered. In his address to those asembled, Rose critized the discriminating conditions and breach of human-rights in Slovacia and in the Czech Republic and complained about the continued reluctance of the German government to compensate the victims and those who survived Auschwitz as provided by written law. In addition Rose warned the participants that Warschau-Birkinau should serve as a constant reminder to be awake to all forms of racisim. At the ceremony which was in remembrance of the 52cnd year of the liquidation of the Nazi Concentration Camp representatives from Poland, Austria, Italy, Holland and Germany and many who survived Auschwitz were present.
