Municipal Authorities to be Informed about Cinti and Roma

The Community Council and other organisations should be better informed about the Roma as has hitherto been the case. A spokesman for the Ministry of Social Affairs in Pots dam said: For this purpose the State-representative for foreigners has produced a Brochure and exhibition with regard to Roma-History, Life and the Roma-Resistance movement. Between 1990/92 many Cinti and Roma from Romania seeking Political Asylum have and are landing in Brandenburg, most whom have returned to their homeland, asylum seeking Roma and Cinti was seldom in the past. Nevertheless an ever increasing influx of Cinti and Roma isexpected in the future.
