Sinti and Roma Protest Disadvantage

The Central Office of the german Cinti and Roma have protested at the deliberate-planned discrimination by the Finance Ministerium with regard to recognition and compensation for the Roma - victims who were incarcerated in the Nazi Concentration Camps in World War Two.The Roma being denied help from a special fund which was set up to help victims and are not being adequately considered, so declared the Chairman of the Central Office of the Roma and Cinti organisation Romani Rose on Thursday. In addition to which the Finance Ministerium refuses to recognise the victims of the Ghettos and concentration Camps in occupied Poland as being compensation worthy. Rose was incensed at the refusal of the Finance Ministry to speak direct with the Central Office of the Roma organisation. Irmgard Krawatzki Parliamentary State Secretary (CDU) several time refused invitations to speak with the Roma. The department manager responsible, declared: On principle, I do not speak with interest groups or organisations. Rose intimated that he would go to the Ministry with 12 survivors from the Nazi Concentration Camps to present Theo Weigel ( FinanceMinister ) with a memorandum for recognition and compensation for the survivors of the NZ concentration Camps.
