Council of Roma in Poland

We the Roma of Poland wish to inform you of our work concerning the problems
of Roma in Poland which resulted in a meeting which took place on the 13th
& 14th March 1996. During the course of a two day debate the meeting
decided to ground `` The Council Of Roma In Poland``. It is the Councils aim
to resolve the problems of Roma in Poland.
Background to the formation of the council:
1. The coordination of all Roma organisation in and out of Poland.
2. To form civil-rights group who will represent the Roma with
civil-authorities.
3. The Council will give its fullest support to all those involvedin
representing Roma-interests.
4. The Council will represent Roma at international level.
5. To close ranks in solidarity and brotherhood with all Roma
organisations and to integrate Roma into society. The meeting which took place
in Warsaw voted for three years term of office:

VICE PRESIDENT: Sero Rom-Henryk Koslowski.
