According to police estimates, 30.000 persons travelled to the Health-Resort Camargue to take part in the traditional Romani, Saintes Maries dela mer Pilgrimage which commenced with a procession on Friday to celebrate the Holy Sarah the Patrona Sainta to the Romani. On the Sunday program was a Bull-Fight. In addition to the pilgrims many tourists from the South of France, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Italy, and Spain participated in this Bank-Holiday festival at the Health-Resort.
