The Danes, the Sorbes, Frieslanders as well as Sinti and Roma in Germany are requesting a representative for minorities in the German Federal Government. A declaration of these minorities, which was circulated Friday by the central council of the Sinti and Roma in Heidelberg, stated that this representatives task should be to take care of the traditional minorities interests and rights. An advisory board, composed of representatives of these minorities should be assigned to him.This board would present a yearly report as well as inform the public about minorities.
