Parallel to the CPRSI Workshop on violence against Roma the permanent members of the Roma Associations in Europe met for consultations.The note from the Council of Europe to the Roma organisations for establishing an expert commission for Roma matters was the cause of considerably worry as the Council of Europe members had not considered informing the Roma organisations under which were the RNC and the German Council of Cinti & Roma. A new CPRSI-summit for March 20-23 in Strasbourg was proposed which would be help parallel to the Constituent Assembly by a group of experts from European Parliament. RNC Chairman Rudko Kawczynski regretted the lack of serious cooperation from the Council of Europe and suggested that the lack could be seen as signfor the abandonment of cooperation with the permanent conference.
