The Anti-Diffamations League /ADL of the Jewish organisation for human rights opened its first European representation on Wednesday.

The office would be supporting all the newly Jewish communities in the postcommunist reformed countries in middle and eastern Europe. This said the leader of the office, journalist Mrs. Marta Halpert on Wednesday. ADL director Abraham H. Foxman, who origin ates from Poland and is survive of the holocaust, said, it is also important in Vienna to voice a big ‘‘NO’’ against bigotry, antisemitism and hostility against foreigners. The Jews had raise their too, ’’ if someone takes action against Turks and Roma ’’.

The ADL office which is temporarily worked by 2 employees is supported by the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation. Lauder is member of the US cosmetic dynasty and a former US ambassador in Vienna.
