Elfrieda Jeleneck famous German language author has decided that her works should not be preformed in Austria. She has also refused to give further interviews in her own country.

`` The hate concentrated against me is no longer bearable``, is astatement she made shortly befor a published interview with the magazine`` News``. She also said: `` i will retire from the Austrian culture scene for a very long time. A begin has already been made on the new Jeleneck work `` Stecken, Stab and Stamgel`` which deals with to date, the unresolved murders of four Roma in the Austrian village of Oberwart.The new work will not be performed at the Burg theater in Viena, but rather in the Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, which will be the first performance.
