Refugees who's application for political asylum has been rejected should not be imprisoned. This was the opinion of an SPD-leader after a meeting which ended on Friday in Mainz. Refugees who's application who have be given more humane accommodation, they are not criminals and their human rights should not be trampled upon by imprisoned.The SPD-leader warned we should not be too rash in deporting refugee, especially those who came from Bosnia who's return to their home land would mean extreme hardship, many of whom would not have a roof overtheir head in this bombed City. The protection and persecution-law should be maintained until it is certain that the asylum applicants can return to their country safely and that the living conditions in their are more stable.
