Cry for Help From Bulgaria

Assen Hristov, the Mayor of Varna, appealed for help from the Roma European institutions. There are some two thousand five hundred Roma living in the community under the most terrible conditions, lackingin clothing, cash to pay for school-fees & food. There is no canalisation, resulting in dirty contaminated water flowing in the streets. This causes severe illness to many of the Roma especially in the Summer when temperatures are higher.
