The Polish Roma plan to establish a Documentation & Research Centre.
The institution would collect and file records of murder Roma-victims of the
Nazi Regime. In addition to which, records of the fate of Roma after World War II,
Poland, Hungary and the former Czechoslovakia. So said Waclaw Dulgoborski
(director of the Roma Institute). The Former Death-Camp Auschwitz Birkenau
has been remarked as the sight for the planned Institute, which Roman
Kwiatkowski, (vice Chairman of the Roma Association in Poland ) estimated
would cost in the region of 3 to 5 million DM.
