Today the Roma National Congress starts to send you mail [ To Mailinglist register Site please click here ! ] of its instant news service Romnews updating you on the latest developments concerning the Roma population in Europe and elsewhere. We begin with a collection of items from the past several days.
The Romnews Network ( RNN ) staff is happy to be able to draw on both public and private information sources, including a network of free correspondence accross Europe. Our aim is to provide you with fresh information, which is why we choose e-mail transmissions as a means of circulating Romnews. You can also order printed copies of Romnews, or Fax transmissions ( please contact the European Central Office in Hamburg under following sources ), or visit our Homepage http://www.romnews.com ( the Website is updated with every news item that we send to you ) there you can find Romnews articles since 1995, and much more information.
Romnews has now become the most successful information media in the Roma history. Romnews operates on a non- profit basis, which is why we do not wish to guarantee a set number of issues each month or week, our flexible structure will allow us to get back to you several time a day if necessary, and give you to the most recent events.
Romnews is also produced in a oral version in Romanes and English, on audio- cassette and Mini Disc ( for Roma Radio and Roma Television FREE! ). If you are interested please contact the European Central Office.

Do you want to be a part of the RNN ?
Romnews welcomes contributions, ranging from news items, short reports and commentaries. Our principal publishing language is English, but restricted distribution of special issues in other languages is possible. For short reports or news items we also provide for translation facilities into all major European languages ( central and east ), includung of course Romanes.
If you wish to contribute to Romnews please don't hesitate to contact our office. We look forward to receiving your comments and ideas.
